Week 14, We are powerful too.

Some feel that girls are inferior to boys, that girls are unable to run businesses and companies as well as man, that we're not suitable to lead. Although this thought seems a little traditional, it still exists till this day. This stereotype of girls being weaker and having no valor is getting nettling.

Just like men, women aspire to start a family, be successful in their career, and to make a stand in society. It is definitely unsurprising for women to carve a name for themselves and surpass men in work and abilities. Many influential and successful business dealers are actually women. One such example is Jean Yip, who has salon and spa outlets in every corner of our island.

Women pursue their ambitions and put aside all these biased beliefs. We, women, can also come out to the work force and prove our worth. We are not only fit for cooking and cleaning, taking care of our children's and husband's needs, but also to make a name for ourselves our abilities to be recognized by society.
